The National Research Institute of Maritime Cultural Heritage operates the "National Maritime Museum". As Korea's leading national maritime history museum, visitors can feel and experience maritime history and culture here. Upon arriving at the museum, visitors can see the view of the sea and various traditional vessels. The permanent exhibition halls include 4 halls such as the Korea Maritime Exchange Hall and the Asia Maritime Exchange Hall on the 1st floor, the Korea Underwater Archaeology and the Traditional Korean Ships on the 2nd floor, and more. The central hall displaying a vast seaside view, the children's exhibition hall, and the special exhibition hall are located in the basement level.
